Wish we had that kind of atmosphere at the Hump. In this world of Facebook and MySpace, we should have pictures of their girlfriends farked, text messages
leading up to the game.

One small college team's fans did something random. They had one of the best D-II players coming in and about two weeks before the game, they started text
messaging "Fear the Goat" daily leading up to the game. The students brought a goat to the game and taunted him the whole game - he had a horrible
game and they upset one of the top teams.

I know we couldnt do that, but seriously, we can do more than "Let's Go State." There is nothing I love more than an opposing coach or player to
comment on the fans' intensity. Last year's Ole Miss basketball game was the most disappointed I have ever been in our student section. Kennedy should
have been rattled from the time they stepped off the bus. Rather they were easy on him and Ole Miss walked away with a win...

Anyone ever seen a pitcher run from the opposing team's bullpen onto the field and then back into the bullpen during a mound meeting by the head coach?

this guy (i don't remember the name) had decided that he would heckle shaq. he got there early, and during the warmups, he tried to get shaq's

"SHAQUILLE! SHA... OH MY GOD, HE'S CROSSEYED!!!" laughter abounded, but shaq was not amused. he grabbed a basketball and threw down a

was in charge of the Rowdies at the time...nobody, BSU, Catholic Prohibition Coalition, whoever, but 2003-2004 was absolutely the most insane I've seen
over in the student section. It was like the first pre-fight scene in Braveheart where the Scots were yelling "Yeww bahstarddds!" and other assorted
colorful metaphors at the Eng...er, Anglish soldiers, right before they charged. And it was like that 24-7. I seriously thought they were going to rush the
court and beat some opposing ass Mississippi State-style at some point in the season.

the wig with the fat chick that you mentioned), but I will completely agree that the Rowdies became soft around when the BSU got really involved. Stupid chants
and uninformed fans are what drove me away. They may have meant well, but they knew nothing about the other team, probably very little about our own, and even
less about the game of basketball and its rules. The 2004 Kentucky game was the last time I sat with the Rowdies. My roommate completely missed the last second
shot by UK b/c this idiot girl thought it was a great time to hold up her big poster-board sign (I'm sure it was extremely creative) and jump up and down

actually hear during a kickoff) "[Dude's Name] likes it in the ass!" The guy kinda twitched a bit when we said it and he dropped the kick. I
think it was Kentucky in 2002 and we got our butts whooped, but we were making the best of it.

My all time favorite was during the 1992 home game versus Arkansas. They just went on a run and the band was in the middle of a rousing circle jerk so it was
