One small college team's fans did something random. They had one of the best D-II players coming in and about two weeks before the game, they started text messaging "Fear the Goat" daily leading up to the game. The students brought a goat to the game and taunted him the whole game - he had a horrible game and they upset one of the top teams.

I know we couldnt do that, but seriously, we can do more than "Let's Go State." There is nothing I love more than an opposing coach or player to comment on the fans' intensity. Last year's Ole Miss basketball game was the most disappointed I have ever been in our student section. Kennedy should have been rattled from the time they stepped off the bus. Anyone ever seen a pitcher run from the opposing team's bullpen onto the field and then back into the bullpen during a mound meeting by the head coach? That's because I called him to tell him he's coming in, even though he's not. Who would've thunk that Dudy Noble has standard campus 662-325-xxxx numbers for ALL of their phones.... including our bullpen, both dugouts, and the press box

The guy with the gorilla was there but O'Neal didn't start or even play in that game (I think he'd injured his foot or leg (was it dancing after they'd clinched a tie for the conference title?)). MSU won that game and the 1991 SEC regular season title.

this guy (i don't remember the name) had decided that he would heckle shaq. he got there early, and during the warmups, he tried to get shaq's attention, yelling "SHAQUILLE! SHAQUILLE! SHAQUILLE!" after a few minutes, shaq finally looked over to him. the guy, still yelling, said this "SHAQUILLE! SHA... OH MY GOD, HE'S CROSSEYED!!!" laughter abounded, but shaq was not amused. he grabbed a basketball and threw down a thunderous dunk that left the goal rocking.

My all time favorite was during the 1992 home game versus Arkansas. They just went on a run and the band was in the middle of a rousing circle jerk so it was amazingly quiet in the Hump (this was before we were packing people in so there were quite a few empty seats).
