Too early for "Newton for Heisman" posters at the game? | #1
|
It's cheesy, but we should have some posters there to recognize him.

I'll chip in to pay for Newton to get a ZJ if it gets him to commit this weekend. | #2

The sororities need to make posters for him | #3
|
And the fans really need to step up big to make him feel wanted, cause we need him bad. Everybody plays a part in recruiting, just ask Ohio state how they got
pryor away from Penn state.

We can host a welcoming party at The Pony with all the free lap dances he can handle.

They should put his face on the dawgzillatron continuosly... | #5

throughout the game. That'll get the crowd all hopped up!

this might be a little lame | #6
|
but for the one of the questions they ask on the dawgzillatron they could put something along the lines of:
Where should Cameron Newton committ? A.Mississippi State University then b-c the other schools he has listed. The only problem the ole miss fans might mess that up and vote for the other. |

I'm pretty sure this would be instant probation | #7

If "simulating a game-day experience" can get you a stern warning, I don't even want to think what "premature insertion into REAL game-day
experience" would get us.

if we want to compete | #9 | ||

the fans need to get involved in recruiting. Chanting a recruit's name at a game may seem cheesy, but it happens all the time. They do it quite often at
ACC basketball games. At mississippi, the word is spread about where the recruits will be during the weekend and everyone is invited to attend and rub elbows
with the recruits. At this point, i'm all for trying anything.

The best thing Newton could bring........ | #13
|
......to MSU is the high level of talent we need for true competition at the QB position. I'm not about to annoint him a savior, especially since we've
seen what can happen with overhyped juco quarterbacks at certain other institutions. But getting Newton is huge because he and Russell can battle it out, and
that only makes us better under center no matter who gets the starting job.

I think the sororities should be planning something a little better than posters... | #14

... if you know what I mean.

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did." "That's what makes WVU such a terrible place. You mix Jersey/Maryland reject guido douchebags with three-eyed cromagnon appalachian coal children, and you get the worst that the land of the free, home of the brave has to offer. A race of people so confused, so misguided, so insular... oooh....it sends a cold chill down my spine." - NutherT |

Or better yet.... | #16 | ||

Someone put him on a plane, send him to San Jose Costa Rica and I will set him up with a Tica, Nica, Colombiana, and a Dominicana for the night at Hotel Del
Rey.
Don't know it... google: Hotel Del Rey San Jose Costa Rica |

Everybody loves to use the Brent Shaffa example but why ignore the successes? Tim Rattay was a JUCO QB before playing at La Tech. Brad Banks played in THIS
STATE before almost winning the Heisman. Josh Heupel had a good run at Oklahoma, and Jeremiah Masoli is tearing shit up at Oregon this year. If Newton commits
to MSU and gives us half the production of any of those guys, he'll shatter every record in our puny record book.
