Which basketball scenario would you prefer? |

A.) We win the West, go about 24-6, win one game in the NCAA tournament as a 5 seed.
B.) Finish at 16-14 and 4th in the West but get hot at the end and win the auto bid to the NCAAs as a 14 seed but win 2 games in the NCAA tournement I will take A. just about every time. |

I would rather be happy the whole season than just for about 5 games and knowing we weren't that good. 16-14 he should be gone. That's really bad.

Would you rather have a Sweet Sixteen, and a 4th place overall SEC finish or a SEC championship and no sweet sixteen.
I go with the SEC championship. |

but I'd prefer option C) go 21-9, second in the west and Sweet 16. Your option B has a pretty shitty conference season, so splitting the difference is
preferable.

Final Four >> SEC Regular Season Title > Elite 8 > Sweet 16 > SEC Tournament Title > Any NCAA Tournament Bid > SEC West Title Option A gets us an SEC West Title. Option B gets us an SEC Tournament Championship and a Sweet 16 banner. Option B wins in a landslide. BFB |

Final Four >> SEC Regular Season Title > Elite 8 > Sweet 16 > SEC Tournament Title > Any NCAA Tournament Bid > SEC West Title So it depends on what kind of SEC championship you are talking about. I'd rather have an SEC Regular Season Title than a Sweet 16 birth. But i'd rather have a Sweet 16 birth than an SEC Tournament Title. |

and be a 5 seed, surely with all of the talent that RS has on this team he can win 2 games in the tourney (no sarcasm). I know I piss some people off (Love
it) on this board about RS's "coaching skills", but he has a pretty good aresnal of weapons that can create match up problems for opponents if he
will utilize them properly. We have to improve at both ends of the court every game to get a 5 seed.

so you cant choose A- its either a Sweet 16 with Tourney title and an ugly record, or a great regular season with an underachieving finish.

24-6 is a pretty impressive record. Ranked in the Top 25 with national exposure (esp. since all our games will be televised). Would make for a really nice
season. It would suck balls to go down in the 1st or 2nd round of the tourney. But over all, I think I would still think of this as a nice season.

Scenario A leaves you with about 26 wins at seasons end and a West title Scenario B leaves you with 22 wins, a Tourney title, AND a Sweet 16 Are 4 more wins

Like I said, I would take 4 months of kicking ass over one week of getting hot/lucky and winning a whopping one more game. I could not tell you more than 4
teams from last years Sweet 16 but I could tell you who were among the top 20 teams in the nation. You obviously are different..........much.......much
different.

People talk about and remember the "Cinderella" team long after the season ends. Nobody cares about the 5 seed that got knocked out in the 2nd round
after winning their conference division.
