My choice is Michael Vick. I saw him play and was amazed at how fast he was.
I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

in Veteran's Memorial in 83 (?) when Ah-chee Cooley brought Satellite Totten and da delta debils in to take on da Allcone Brave. The swimmers were all
huddled up in the bowl end for safety. Helluva game. Helluva halftime show. Beat all I'd ever seen. I was told it was second only to 81 MSU-Mississippi
Southern in attendance at Veterans for a college game.

had nothing to do with black/white or otherwise, just didn't think he actually saw Rice play in Itta Bena. I could be wrong though.

I was 12 when I saw Hershel in S'Vegas. Saw Dupree his SR year of HS and his FR year at OK a year later. In Jr high I saw Bo(Baseball and Football at
Auburn) and a year or so out of college when I saw Peyton.
In fact I've seen these honorable mentions live....... Brett Favre Eli Staubach & Dorsett Earl Campbell Billy Sims Barry Sanders Eric Dickerson Morten Anderson(pregame was fun to watch) Jerry Rice Montana Stabler (although he was a statue by then) Danny Wuerffel Ricky Williams(although it sucked watching him play) Andre Ware Jim Kelly Tim Brown Hell I think that's 11 Heisman winners there. And I saw all but Staubach ,Brown and Dorsett while they were in college. And Peyton should have won one and Dupree would have if he hadn't been a lazy ass.

Honorable mention: Brett Favre.
I wasn't exactly elated to see him play because he was at USM a few years before I was attending grad school in Hattiesburg. But now... I'm glad I've seen him play live. |

College-- I enjoyed watching the speed of Steve Slaton and Pat White last year...
Pro-- I got to watch my all time icon Steve McNair play when he was in his prime still in Tennessee (then met him a couple years later) |

He was very good. I was on the 40 when he blew his knee. Keefer was in that category too. No telling how far they both could have gone.

Sorry - not AT Valley, but WHEN he was at Valley. | #54

I was in Ruston for the La Tech - Valley playoff game in ......84? Tech destroyed them, I think 66-19. But just before the half, Totten hit Rice on a post
pattern at about midfield and he just glided down the field for the score. There were also a decent number of Alcorn fans there, talking trash, since they
played the winner. They had won the SWAC that year and had a bye, so they were telling the Tech people to wait til next week when they played the SWAC champs.
That one was in Lorman, and someone bored can look it up, but it was more of the same. I think Tech lost in the championship game that year.
So, to sum it up, I have seen Tech play twice in Ruston, and they are undefeated when I am there.
That's not me, but it could be. How could I forget.....AIR MCNAIR | #55

Saw Alcorn play at Samford his senior year. It was unreal. Samford was waaaaaay out in front, and McNair just took over. The game actually ended in a tie, but
only because McNair ran out of time. I left thinking it would not bother me if he won the Heisman. Oh, and the Alcorn band arrived about mid-way through the
first quarter.

You fail at the intarwebs.
Actually I do consider it an honor to have seen TJ Mawhinney play. The worst linebacker to ever wear a football uniform, and I can say I saw him get mowed down by any number of SEC (and non-SEC) running backs.

I saw him play the Arizona Cardinals in Phoenix in Jimmy's 2nd year in Miami (I think). He is my favorite NFL player, and that is still the only NFL
game I've ever attended in person. Glad I got to see the Great One before he left the game.
