What would you say at your first cigar boy meeting? I would make sure somebody high up on the AD staff was assigned to keep me apprised of all the good rumors

I would ask the cigar boys how much money per year it would take to be the alpha cigar boy. Then I would add 20% and write a check and demand better seats and
parking places than them.
Then I would buy the old Burger King and open a sports bar there and tell the Athletic Department to send a bunch of memorabilia for the decor. I would have an office overlooking the bar (like the Double Deuce in Road House) where all future cigar boy meetings would take place. I would tell the revenue-producing head coaches they could come in anytime for complimentary food and drinks as long as they came up to my office and gave me the latest rumors about what was going on and what the other cigar boy factions were up to.
