    Malik Dear

Torn ACL. Confirmed with my own two eyes and talked to him in person.

The writing has been on the wall but what I've been wanting to know is how. Contact or no contact?

Contact from one of our new Safeties is the rumor.

You know our old safety ain't making any contact...
90 percent of college football teams do not cheat...the other 10 percent are ranked.

This sucks...he was a home run threat every time he caught the ball.

ACLs don't take nearly as long to recover from as they once did. I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to start in the fall.

They don't take as long, but I would think being back and close to full speed in less than six months isn't happening. It would be huge if it happened though.

He still has his redshirt year available. I suspect they will use it here.

Anybody else concerned with WR depth?

I feel decent about two of the three spots. Have to keep Gray and Mixon healthy and I suspect we'll see Myles and Thomas back in the slot more often, where they are better anyway,

It's all going to depend on if the big guys can step up. If we don't get much from Couch, Todd, and Mitchell then we are going to have a really tough time throwing the ball down the field.

Be foolish not to be concerned. I think TEs need to fill that gap. They need to have a big role in next year's passing attack.

I would love a legit receiving te threat. Hell, arky played with two with hh and sprinkle. Would be nice if one lucked out and created a lb mismatch.

I beg to differ. I had 3 surgeries on my right knee for MCL tears 2 years ago and I am just as fast as I ever was!**

For the record - I expected Malik Dear to make a really bad decision after this season. Be interesting to see how this injury impacts his pro football prospects (or better yet, how he views his pro football prospects).

Geez. He needs to talk to Derunnya about his experience because they would be very similar if that happens

Good point. We haven't seen too much out of our TE's in the passing game.

It would've been nice to have Wilson and Ross on the field at the same time last year.
