    Quick Kylin Hill question

So, each time Hill came in Saturday night, Fitzgerald would go under center with Hill lining up directly behind him as a tailback. Not a normal formation for Mullen's offense. Does anyone know what that was all about? Does Hill not handle the option well? Does he just see the play better from back there? Was it just a coincidence?

Better Kylin Hill question....with the way Gibson and Lee have looked so far this year, why didn't we redshirt him?

He is special. Hard to sit a player that electric. Might have been part of why he stuck with us instead of going to TX. I bet they told him he would be playing right away there. Mullen prob didnt have much choice.

I don't doubt for one minute that he's special. That's why I think it would be nice to have another year out if him, considering that we haven't given him any meaningful carries since Charleston Southern and Gibson and Lee have both been impressive. Right now the three of them look about equal, which says a lot for Hill considering that the other guys are very good and have 2 years in the program already.

I'm having horrific flashbacks of when we never redshirted Jerious and only gave him like 50 carries his whole freshmen season. But, the flip side is maybe Mullen can work out a deal where he plays the back half of the SEC schedule next year and still redshirts with the new rule in place.

Id like to hear the back story on him not redshirting, for sure.

One of many things Mullen has been great at........preparing his kids for the NFL. He thinks about the kid first, not the school. He knows Hill would only play 3 of those years anyway. I'm not saying Hill is Todd Gurley but I see nothing stopping him from the league. His sample size is still too low for my honest opinion on his NFL comparisons but I've seen Laveon Bell mentioned.......not sure if that was a troll to UGA fans though.......... I like how he comes in and out of his burst. He explodes through arm tackles and that stiff arm was pretty violent Sat night.

We didn't redshirt him because he can give us something that neither Aeris or Gibson can give us. He's not a 5-year player anyway. Simple rule of redshirting is if a player can contribute this year, play him. And Hill is contributing and will contribute more as the season goes on.

This has been the worst take on State message boards this season.

    I keep seeing it everywhere.
