Thread: Om theory

    Om theory

I saw on ED where Finebaum (or finebama) has hinted that there is more to the escort theory, and posters suggested the NCAA went light on om because of this (more to come). Just a theory, but maybe the FBI asked the NCAA to go light be on them so the "network" might set back up and the FBI might catch them in the act. Just a theory.

You'd be better off listening to rumors on the OM Spirit than ED.

This theory may not be far off. Chris Brooks on his show mentioned that yesterday(Say what you want about his bias, his show is pretty entertaining). But he talked about how schools may be afraid to take him with fear more stuff will come out. He said the OM may have been able to cover up a lot from releasing Freeze when they did and how the MeToo movement may have an effect on AD's hiring Freeze. As far as the FBI, that could be an ED stretch.

I also saw on ED where some idiot said tobacco money was used to payoff the ncaa. ED is the ultimate conspiracy theory forum.

That whole NCAA in Oxford ship has sailed. As long as Luke doesnít go all Freeze 2.0, and get Network-aided top 5 classes, UM is Nutt-era crootiní.

There's a lot more to the escort theory. Freeze was using them personally, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Nothing will ever happen though. The NCAA went light on UM because they just don't care.

Most of that comes from trolls posing as state fans. ED was pretty good at calling twists and turns during the investigation. None of the ones that had solid info have contributed to the non-sense lately.

Did they really hit on anything much other than just repeating what Rosebowl had already said? They had a lot of big misses during the investigation too.

The NCAA went light on OM because we (MSU) had too much skin in the game, unfortunately. It would have gone much better (worse for them) if there were no involvement at all from anyone related to MSU or no book written. They couldnít punish them too hard without expecting a lot of ongoing media litigation. OM wasnít going to let us utilize the Leo thing to take them down without a fight. Canít say I blame them as I would expect MSU to do the same if faced with that situation.

To keep the peace their ruling was the compromise. The NCAA wanted it over with as bad as OM did. It could have gotten very dirty for us as well.

    Admonish strongly and warn...Punish lightly.

    Itís really that simple.

You're reading WAY too much into the NCAA's ruling.

That's laughable. It had nothing to do with MSU. The NCAA has no teeth, that's all...

When I'm interested in gaining new information on MSU things, I read SixPack. When I'm in the mood to be entertained, such as reading tabloid level news, I jump over to EliteDawgs.

Gosh can you imagine if this is true? They might lose another 2 or even 3 yes 3 scholarships. They must be trembling right now.
