Cinderella Man - Forgot Just How Great This Movie Was

Was flipping through Netfilx after church and noticed they had Cinderella Man on. I watched it for the 1st time in a few years, and I had forgotten just how great the movie was. I don't know that another sports film does a better job of recreating the electricity and excitement of a sporting event. I don't care how many times I watch the movie, I always get pretty fired up during the Corn Griffin fight and during the Baer fight where the crowd is chanting "Braddock, Braddock, Braddock" as Jim is nearing a knockout. I remember now how fired up I got the 1st time I watched it. Anyhow, random thought I figured I'd share with the pack.

Absolutely fabulous movie. I remember the first time I watched that last fight I felt like I took every blow Braddock took. I'm a big Crowe and Giamanti fan and both were awesome. One of my top 4 movies ever. 1. Apollo 13 2. Tombstone 3. A River Runs Through It and 4. Cinderella Man

interesting tidbit, did you know Paul Giamanti's father was the MLB commissioner that banned Pete Rose for life?

It's in my top 5 as well. Fantastic film. Zelwegger's (sp?) best performance in my opinion.
