because the bleachers aren't high enough. Or that's probably the excuse that they would give you if you asked. Nevermind that the bands seating could be re-arranged.
Also, believe it or not, supposedly there are SEC rules on how close the band can be to the field, and believe it or not, our band is supposedly too close to the field as it is, but it's overlooked because of our stadium design. Once again, nevermind that the band's seating arrangement could be re-arranged.
