I'm pretty sure someone from either Gene's or The Blitz got in trouble a few years ago for talking to a prospect while they were on campus.
Now that I think about it, that rule might only apply to official visits.

I've never kept up with the rules on who can talk to who and when. About the only thing I know is that you're not supposed to be slipping cash and
gifts to prospects.
The rules about what can be said, who can say it, when they can say it, and things like that are way too complicated, and I've never really cared enough to look into them. And honestly, I don't know how or why anyone would know whether or not something along those lines would be a violation, and then why they would care. |
