Favre's chin strap |
Lead | ||

What's the deal with him un-snapping it after every play, re-snapping it as he walks to the LOS? He's done that for a long as I can remember. Don't
know about college.
Give Russell a chance.

Easier to talk and call the play | #1

Many QB's do it. Try holding your jaw closed and speak. |

He does that because he is "tha man". | #2

People that are awesome usually do that.

He does it to relieve the pressure his massive ego puts on the helmet. | #3

I love it. I hope he loses to the Saints in the Superdome in the NFC Championship game.

Just so sick of the theatrics. Did you see the end of the game? He's such a drama queen. Hey Brett - it's not all about you, all day, every
day.

What did he do that was wrong? Raise his arms when the clock hit zero?

this may sound dumb... | #8

But I did the exact same thing when I played. For some reason, I HATED that damn thing. Wish they had a helmet that didnt require a chin strap. I played
defense, but I still couldnt stand the feeling of it being bound on my chin.
THANK YOU

I played D too. Chin strap never bothered me. I didn't have to talk though.
In my adult life I played organized ice hockey a few years. I wore my chinstrap and wore it tight. Didn't bother me to talk or yell. But it wasn't loud at our rink like it is in an NFL stadium.
Give Russell a chance.

on any of the three teams I played for that always did that. Guess I am just weird...I played middle line backer though, and I usually called the plays for the
DC....still hated it though.
THANK YOU
