Redding would not comment on the SEC's new rules. But he did say the league officiating, overall, has been on par with other seasons. The league coaches have cast a bad image on officials by speaking out so much publicly."This is not broke," Redding said
of SEC officiating. "It doesn't need fixing. . . . I think we've had a really good season so far."

than ever before. We have been getting shafted for decades but when nobody else sees it nobody cares. Actually, most people don't care even when they do
see it but at least if they see it they know its not just sour grapes from MSU fans or other supposed "have not" fans.

With all games on ESPN national TV and with 90+ % of the bad calls going in favor of the more highly ranked team, this is going to continue to be talked about.
I think the SEC is going to be under some real pressure to improve their officiating.

"90+ % of the bad calls going in favor of the more highly ranked team"can it really be that high? i'd be surprised if it is much more than 60% (even though that is still not equitable). wouldn't it be accurate to assume that we hear a lot about the missed calls by the losing team because they lost? when bama wins a game by a wide margin, saban doesn't go on a rampage about a really bad call. although, let him lose by 1 point and see how much he says about it. another example, if we had won the florida game even after all of those crappy calls, we wouldn't be talking about it much at all. we would let it go and move on to the next game to talk about. /again, devil's advocate //LR1400...i still reserve the right to bitch about refs and you can't tell me not to, plus if i do bitch it has no outcome on the game this coming weekend or any weekend for that matter

Because it's been "fixed" since the season started with UF and Bama in the pre-season top 5.
