I was pondering the staggering personnel losses OM will have next year and was wondering |

what percentage of your offense you lose next year. TTM, Dixon, who else?

Don't know about percentages, but we lose... | #1 | ||

115 yards passing/game, 13 interceptions, 4-5 fumbles, 1-2 drive-killing decisions/game, 2-3 batted balls/game, etc. How will we ever replace that production?
In other words, do your own research. |

We lose McRae, who I don't think has really made it back from his injury. I think we lose a decent OL, but he's already splitting time, so the OL will
really just be a depth issue for us. Maybe Stalworth?
Next year, Dixon is the only player that will really be difficult to replace. If we come up with a mediocre qb, we'll have a significant upgrade over the TTM, which is why the wait till next year vibe is stronger than usual. But if we don't find a qb, and if running back by committee is a significant drop off from Dixon, state loses the better half of its line after next year (iirc), so next year may be sort of a window for Mullen believe it or not. |

1 on the OL, QB, RB's...
Next year will be RB by committee, an improved OL and WR core, and a lethal weapon at QB

Stansbury is 17-44 against the top 25, and 51-82 overall against the top 50...I rest my case (numbers compliments of ScoobaDawg) "The best proven coordinator out there from a big school and the best head coach from a non-BCS program would not give MSU the time of day." - Willie Cunningham...a k a Ol Blew...a k a irsdawg" - October 22nd, 2008 |

Are you talking about that Newton kid or Tyler Russell?

Just making sure.
