Can we declare this the last day for MSU/Ja-Money threads. He is gone and will not be back. If he does ever make a team I could see him listing Oak Mount as
his college like tommy kelley did on MNF. I just do not think he was very appreciative of what MSU provided him

I just do not think he was very appreciative of what MSU provided himHow do you figure? Everything I've ever seen from him, he has spoken positively of his experience here. He even got a recruit to look at us when the recruit hadn't originally planned to (I forget the recruits name, but he is big-time, from the west coast I believe). You can't really blame him for leaving. He felt this was the best time for him to go and that this was gonna be the best thing for his future. Our staff planned on him not being part of the team next year, so its not like he left us high and dry. Whether you agree with him leaving early or not considering what happened at the draft is a moot point. He did what he thought was best for him. I wish him luck, and am glad I got to watch him while he was here.

If you have to plead your case that you only lost to TULANE by three points .... seriously, what the &#*@ are you doing coaching at D1? - Three Putt 11/28/06 I knew that Maine was a better football team than us. To be honest with you, I was surprised the game was as close as it was. I really was because I thought we were going to get beat two touchdowns. - Coach Croom 6/14/07 |
