an LSU/USC flip flop seems logical, but USC got beat by Auburn. I see your logic and agree w/leaving Louisiana State where you did. If USC continues to play like that, they'll have to be the #2 team. Interesting is gonna be Auburn/LSU.

so far for SEC football. Every team is competitive right now in the league. The next 2 weeks are going to be very interesting for the Cream rankings

which usually translates into no undefeated SEC teams and no BCS appearance.

the way the SEC beats itself up each year, but BCS bowl is guaranteed regardless... Looks as if Mike Slive has said 17 protecting any specific team up to this point. He might start working his magic for the winner of LSU and Auburn if both are undefeated going into that game..

I can't see LSU or Auburn surviving undefeated this year. Their recent stint of football games have been nail biters. For Auburn to finish undefeated they will have to find a defense and LSU has the tools to make the run but someone is going to derail the mad hatter the way they have won the last two games.

At the beginning of the year I just knew that Les's luck was going to run out this year, and your quarterback issue was going to be too much to overcome. So much for that, when your offense has struggled, your defense has kept you in the games. As the old saying goes, NC are won with defense, and LSU certainly has a good defense. The only problem is right now the press, and all of college footballers outside of the SEC believe that no one in the SEC is worthy of being in the NC. This is why we desperatly need some type of playoff in college football. If nothing else than just between all of the Conference champions. I gurantee the SEC would dominate even more than what we do right now.

was when he was asked why he went for the fake and he said "I thought it was a play we could score on".....in other words, he though Josh Jasper could run 40 yards past the Florida defense. Fantastic.

I don't know what its going to take to get Auburn some love, but they are pretty damn good.

They are the anti-LSU. All offense and no defense. I would much rather havea stout defense than a stout offense.

because they are not convincingly beating the average teams on their schedule. Beat us by 3 and it was as much because we blew our shots in the 2nd half as it was anything that they did. They needed a game winning drive against an average Clemson team as well as an average (at best) UK team. They are ranked in the top ten with only one impressive win over South Carolina. I would say they are getting as much love as they have earned.

Remember when we started out 8-0 and were still ranked only 8th? This AU team isn't much different in terms of results on the field so far.

who is no. 3 in these rankings and only has one impressive win also.

So I'd give the nod to Auburn. They are tough to stop.

We're only 6 games into the season....there are not many teams with multiple impressive victories.

He makes no sense in his decisions yet it works out. I don't get it. He wastes possessions. He calls boneheaded untimely fakes. He can't manage game time clocks. He speaks eerily like George W Bush. Yet the dude wins.

Just like LSU if they can't score, you can definitely outscore South Carolina. There are a lot of beatable teams in the conference.
