I can sign in from my home computer--the original computer I set my "new" account up with. When I go to work(different computer), the board will not allow me to sign in with the exact same user name and password. Feedback?

It should work both places.

Doesn't. Have tried it multiple times. Reasonably tech savvy and it just does not work. Not saying it's not a problem on my end but I never had this problem until the switch.

Difficult to say without knowing exactly what you are experiencing.

If I had to take a stab, is it possible you work for a large company, which uses an inline caching proxy like Squid?

Unsure what you are capable of on your work machine but you could look at this (http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable) and this (http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/browser.php). A default install of the latter allows you to use separate secure DNS. The former you can carry on a stick and configure how you like. You may be able to find a way to use an addon to tunnel through the issue.

I should ask if you have cleared your browser's cache because there could be some old cached data in there from before the DNS switch, which might just be affecting you.

I have a feeling though if you installed Firefox Portable on a stick and logged in at home, you would still be logged-in if you took it to work but then find you could not post. This would likely confirm my suspicion of a caching proxy.
