Mason will get at year 3 but the heat is going to ratchet up big time.
Austin Peay could be the only win.
I am not sold on that. If he starts 0-16 in the SEC he will be toast. This isn't your granddaddy's Vanderbilt. They have had recent football success as well as pretty decent showings in other sports. Unless they show some major improvements and have some close calls against respectable competition Mason can pack his bags. That Vandy team that played in Starkville last season made our 2003 squad look like '92 Bama.
eta: I guess saying your granddaddy's Vanderbilt might not be accurate since they were pretty strong back in the day.
