The SPS pessimism index is very low here. I now worry about the Tigahs. I should start an index one day measuring this and offering the contra move projection based on the index. Maybe one day...

Brutal schedule. 5-7 (2-6) at best.
90 percent of college football teams do not cheat...the other 10 percent are ranked.

An ugly 8-4 (4-4). I think the hole Les left O was bigger than the average fan admits.

7-5 (4-4) They end on a 3 game win streak and get a surprise W over either Aub or Florida.

Maybe it was poor persuasion Miles had on underclassmen opting to leave early, but that is what's killed LSU. They have too many underclassmen leaving every year.

What you all are saying is Coach O is gone in November.

Losses to Auburn, Georgia and Bama. Joe Burrow will be an upgrade over Danny Etling.

8-4 predictions are interesting and maybe correct. I can't decide on a record yet. But I am curious, where do you see the wins coming from?

6-6 (2-6) Come on down Hugh Freeze

I just don't see them scoring much unless a lot of unproven players step up. Almost all the yardage from last year, which was subpar outside of Guice and Chark, is gone and I know little to nothing about the next guys up. I felt generous giving them seven wins. Could easily go 5-7 or 4-8.

6-6 Overall 3-5 SEC. They will beat SE Louisiana, La Tech, Ole Miss, UPIG, & Rice and either Florida or A & M. I think 5-7 is much more likely than 7-5 or better

Robbie Faulk .. To your point, I think MSU will have 49 scholarship players from Mississippi on next year's roster and Ole Miss will have 19. So much for 'Mississippi Made.'
