My guess - 3 scenarios to make play off.

    1. Beat everyone including Bama win the SEC championship go in at #1
    2. Beat everyone in the west lose in the Sec Championship to UGA by a td or less - go in at #2 or 3.
    3. Beat every team by 2 or more touchdowns(considering the loaded west buffet) and stay within 7 of Bama on the road- go in at #4.

Fortunately a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY remains with a road game against perhaps the best team in College Football History- as perceived by the experts.
State is only 1 of a handful of teams with as many chances- LSU is also one.
LSU game is huge - glad a week off prior. I guess being in the West is a real double- edged sword.

There are more scenarios than these

Losing to Auburn or LSU (or even Kentucky on the road) isnít a dealbreaker as long as itís your only loss and you still beat Bama and make it to Atlanta and win there.

One loss with wins over Bama and UGA should get anyone in.

There is only one scenario for us to go the playoffs. Win the SEC Championship. Do that and we are in. Donít do that and itís very very unlikely.

If we continue to play ball like we have, that game could have a Game Day atmosphere and national attention on a scale we have not seen even in our 2014 season.

There is no one way State gets in with a loss. It depends on what happens around Mississippi State.

Would State get in at 11-1 in 2016 and 2017? Yes. But in 2014? No. That's what makes it complex.
