I'm more of a beer drinker. I don't like myself after too much liquor, nor does anyone else, but I'm going to polish off what's left of my George Dickel shortly.

Sipping on a glass of Willett on the rocks at the moment. Probably going to break into that bottle of Have a Shot of Freedom whiskey before bed. Seems appropriate on Flag Day.

If you have family or friends in Georgia or west Texas, Special Reserve is on the shelves in excess. Old antique and 12 yr are in short supply, but you can get SR rather easily. There is SR and Elmer T. Lee at my local store NE of Atlanta for $35 or $99, respectively.

Got a bottle of Elmer T Lee a few years back. Not a fan
Was able to find a bottle of Blantons. That is some good bourbon

Currently working on a bottle of Jim Beam Black. I am a fan of Beam in all its forms but the black
    is really really good bourbon.

also, if u find a bottle of single barrel itís awesome

Bulldog Bruce gave a tip on the Henry McKenna 10 BIB a few years ago and it is also one of my favorites as well. The damn bottle won some type of award and now I can't find it. Asshole collectors that don't drink what they buy.

Dickel is an old favorite as well. I don't drink a lot of beer because I either like it from the tap or ice cold. Bourbon is my favorite of all the liquors but I have switched to Vodka and Tequilla for the summertime.

My absolute favorite is Woodford and many of the top shelf varieties such as Bullet.

My most recent find has been Devil's Cut Jim Beam. I drank enough Jim Beam in my youth to fill a river, but this tastes quite good for the price.

I like these threads because they help me find new suggestions like the Reserve below
