    Ya Boy 2019

Often imitated, never duplicated. It is that time again, time to lock in "ya boy" for the 2019 season. We will archive this thread with the Preseason Prognostications. My selections from last year were as follows:

    "Ya Boy": Braxton Hoyett
    Offensive MVP: Nick Fitzgerald
    Defensive MVP: Montez Sweat
    Offensive Breakout Player: Stephen Guidry
    Defensive Breakout Player: Cam Danztler
Freshman of the Year: Devonta Jason

Here is a link to last year's threads, so you can all see how stupid we were: https://forums.sixpackspeak.com/show...34#post1520234

As a refresher, "ya boy" in the PTI dialect is basically your favorite player on the team. You will be open to ridicule if your boy flops and entitled to tout said player as "ya boy" when he performs well this season. We could call it "Your Favorite Player" but that is just boring. As a bonus we will also do everyone's selections for Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP, Offensive Breakout Player, Defensive Breakout Player and Rookie (Freshman) of the Year.

Just copy and paste the below form and insert your selections:

    "Ya Boy": Erroll Thompson
    Offensive MVP: Kylin Hill
    Defensive MVP: Erroll Thompson
    Offensive Breakout Player: Stephen Guidry
    Defensive Breakout Player: Fletcher Adams
Freshman of the Year: Lee Witherspoon
I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and The Mississippi State Bulldogs

    2019

    "Ya Boy": Leo Lewis
    Offensive MVP: Kylin Hill
    Defensive MVP: Erroll Thompson
    Offensive Breakout Player: Tyre Phillips
    Defensive Breakout Player: Brian Cole
Freshman of the Year: Charles Cross

I am on the Leo Lewis hype train. I think he is going to bust out.

I was tempted to list one of the WRs for offensive breakout player, but I think Tyre Phillips is going to play some big minutes. So I am going with an off the radar selection for that.

Im not going to take anything off the table at this point in time ... but I will tell you this, Cohen began, this person is going to have serious baseball experience as a head coach. This person is going to have made trips to Omaha, Nebraska. This person is going to have expertise in an area of the game and in all facets of the game. And this person is going to make our fan base very happy. - Intense Bastard, April 5, 2018.
