Say some prayers for Jackon area sportscaster Chuck Stinson...

he isn't doing very well. Seems like whatever his sickness is - it came on him quick. He doesn't have COVID.

Chuck was host of the morning sports show on 620 and and was on WLBT for many years. I doubt he's 60 years old.
I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and The Mississippi State Bulldogs

Doesn't he work for a charity now?

I think he works for Mississippi Organ Recovery unless I have him confused with Bahou.
And he does some on site reporting for one of the tv stations on High School Football.

I think you are correct. He has been at my office before getting people to sign up for organ donations. I remember now.

In the early/mid 90's, he was the sportscaster for the ABC affiliate in Greenville - WABG, I think. As a kid, I remember looking forward to watching him do "Friday Night Lites," which aired before the 10pm news that night. Even though he must've been a really young man at the time, he seemed to inhabit the role more than most.

Man I enjoyed some Chuck and Doug in the mornings. Now I get the y'all lifestyle combined with whatever mumbling sidekick he can find that day. Just not the same

Yep. The only thing that I like better about Bounds is that he doesn't cover professional sports. Doug could go to seed on some pro stuff (especially the draft) that I just couldn't listen to. Otherwise give me Chuck and Doug all day long.
