Questionable to say the least along with the steal at 2nd. The ball was bobbled in the dirt initially, but I’m not at all sure that it wasn’t recovered for the tag. Not sure why that didn’t get reviewed
While McLeod is now over 70 pitches deep through 3 innings.
Our half of the inning lasted about 2 minutes.
Hit his back foot. You could see the shoe move on replay.
MacLeod might be Pilk 2.0. Good pitcher, don’t know that we can count on him to go deep in games consistently.

Also Kamren James has bobbled two grounders that cost an out and he bobbled the throw out at 2nd leading to a big inning for Tulane. Not sure if it’s just bad luck or him just not locked in and focused tonight but either way those mistakes are killing us
We have not looked crisp tonight, that’s for sure. Just sloppy play at the plate, on the mound, and in the field
It didn’t cost a run there but James took his eye off the cutoff throw and completely missed it. Bounced right past him. ROUGH game so far

I like Kamren. He had a great game earlier this week. I hope he does well but tonight I put all the blame on him so far. Pitchers are rolling and then because of an error by James they’re pitching out of the stretch and clearly lose a mental edge after that unforced error. Both big errors led to big innings for Tulane where we just couldn’t get out of the hole

I can’t believe that was ruled an error. He should have made the play, but that wasn’t an error.
All we need to improve tomorrow is our hitting, pitching and fielding.
Probably win if we had consistent play at short tonight....Also Tulane’s pitcher had a set on him, ours haven’t dropped yet.
The last throw down was Dubrule. I think Kam James is roughly 0-18 against P5 teams with no BB or HBP. I know he got a hit in TX for one of those but it was a Pop up that found the right spot.
That guy for Tulane is filthy. They can beat anyone with him on the mound.
we have to get more from Macloud. I thought we could have gotten one more inning tonight.

I don’t think we are as good as we thought we were.
The same thing can be said for every sport this year.
We’ve droppe back to the Punch and Judy hitters again. They got no marbles.
Definitely not a Top 8 seed performance the past two games, against JSU and against Tulane. I could see Lemonis having to live with the poor fielding if they could hit it out of the infield, but the poor fielders aren’t hitting either.
Gonna have to have much better defense to help this staff because they are gonna have win a bunch of 5-3, 4-2, 3-2 games this year.
I could’ve sworn that was James but if it was Dubrule then I apologize for raining down all of the frustration on Kamren. Rough night all around from a missed pitch and lack of concentration on defense. I’ll end on a positive note... Logan Tanner has a freaking cannon and gives me Molina vibes with the throw outs to second and the cockiness with the wave after. I love it. I’d probably hate it if he wasn’t on my team.
