Yeah, I know they're technically performing again, but would have loved to have seen the 1989 version.

Original Line Ups you can never see again: Boston, Ozzy with Randy Rhodes, Lynryd Skynryd, Allman Brothers, Rush, SRV, and Queen.

The Stones in their prime. They are playing here in November on another tour brought to you by Geritol and Ensure.

Bob Seger, Elton John, or Billy Joel as well.

Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, and Keith Whitley.

For a specific concert tour Pink Floyd The Wall

Most of the other's mentioned I saw. I guess that was one advantage growing up in NY.

Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. I actually had tickets to see Floyd on the Division Bell tour but the concert was on mother's day and ended up having to sell them.
    Edited to add Cream.

Pink Floyd. Preferable with these backing singers. Blue Oyster Cult (got tickets to see them in Hattiesburg in October).

I saw the original Van Halen in New Orleans in the Superdome. DLR was horrible that day. All he did was scream. Hagar was an earlier act with his band. It was New Orleans first day of Rock n Roll concert in 79(or something like that). That's also where I saw Boston, Nazareth and Blue Oyster Cult.

I would have loved to see Cre, GNR, Poison, VH and the other party bands on the Sunset Strip at their peak decadence.

Saw them twice with DLR. Women and Children First and Mean Street tours in Memphis at the Colosseum. They were so 17ing good for both shows but the Mean Street show was still the best for crowd and performance I've ever been to. Everybody showed up in the parking lot and had a big party for about two hours before the show started. There were no fights, no arguments in the crowd before, during, and after. Everybody had a great time before and during the show. Everybody in the crowd was in such a great mood it's hard to explain. They were screaming so loud after the first song that David Lee Roth and the guys just stopped, listened, and told the crowd the rest of the tour was going to have to kick ass to beat what they were doing that night.

The Bon Jovi and Scorpions concert had the most fights before things got started, maybe four or five before the Scorpions took the stage.

Beatles (yes, I think they are overrated as well), GNR, Zeppelin, Rolling Stones

And bands that probably no one here knows about: Adam Again, Puller, Prayer Chain, Black Eyed Sceva, Dime Store Prophets, Poor Old Lu, Dryve, old Five Iron Frenzy, old Mxpx, old 77's and by this time next year, Project 86.

Chicago would have been incredible. I saw Warren Zevon in the late 90s at a further festival show up around Cleveland. They brought out a piano or keyboard and he came and sang werewolves by himself. It was unexpected and so cool to see.

I've seen Chicago a couple of times post-Terry Kath but THAT was the real Chicago that I never got to see live.

    Lucky me,

    Saw them in S'Vegas.

They all swapped musical instruments, and kept playing.

    Very talented.
