Their schedule is favorable. Don't play Florida, play Alabama at home early. And I just think Ryan Mallett is that good.

Now, I don't know that they'll win the SEC and go to the NC game, but I think they'll start 12-0.

Losses to BAMA and the mad hatters final game.

Defense still hasn't proven anything to deserve a better record. All four SEC road trips will be tough ones.

    Preseason Prognosticators - Week 7 - Arkansas

run rings around them and even lsu will beat them, IMO. 9-3 they have no defense and in the sec you better play defense.because of that i even think ole miss has a better chance to beat them than most think.

ETA,,,,,if bama's def gets to mallet, he may have a short season. the boy tends to be injury prone.weakbones i think

He wasn't last year, and that's pretty much his only real year.

I think you're letting your hatred of Arkansas cloud your brain. I agree with your comment about your D against Mallet, but I think they get you in Fayetteville this year. Your defense won't overcome the lack of offense.

still hasn't missed any game time though. The way the other poster worded it sounded like he's been hurt on and off his whole career.

First of all, no way they go undefeated. If they could not go undefeated with three NFL RBs and a couple more draft picks on defense, no way Mallet can carry them all the way.

Also, the Pigs usually start slow. I see UGA sneaking up on them and Bama flexing some muscle in Fayetteville (old Indian word for dark side of the moon). Then maybe someone else down the stretch not named Mississippi State.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and have them losing only to the state of Alabama this season. Even though I think 10-2 for them will be lucky

Ryan Mallett goes down week 2 and the wheels come off. He either gets hurt in the game or in a post game party while he is facing haters and fighting chicks off of him. (If you are on twitter you got to follow @SummerofMallett

Seriously I got them going on a 4 game losing skid after week 2 even with Mallett - Georgia, Bama, Texas A&M and Auburn.

They'll win one game on the road in the SEC. Two if they're really all they're cracked up to be. They'll finish in an 8-4 cluster of SEC teams but make the Cotton Bowl so Mr. Jones can see his Pigs play in Jerruh-land one more time.
