Looking at W-L's, Mullen's basically done the same thing as OBC

    through the first 3 seasons.

    OBC-21-16 DM-21-17

Spurrier never had a losing season but he never posted a 9+ win season until his 6th season. Also,by the time spurrier started at USC, the balance of power had shifted back to the West (even though his alma mater beat the hell out of everyone with Mullen calling the shots).

The ascent up the SEC ladder, with the goal of building sustainable program, take years

and probably Arkansas a little bit; although we may see some of that this year from the Hogs. That's basically what ended up happening for Spurrier...UT went in the toilet and UGA and Florida lost their luster.

To start their head coaching careers:<div>
</div><div>After a 9-2 season at Toledo, Nick Saban went 25-22 his first four seasons at Michigan State.<div>
</div><div>Les Miles went 28-21 his four seasons at Oklahoma State before being hired at LSU.</div><div>
</div><div><div>Gene Chizik went 5-19 his two years at Iowa State before going to Auburn, and even counting his 14-0 season in 2010, is 'only' 35-29 (.547) for his 5-season head coaching career.</div><div>
</div><div>After 6 years at Murray State, Frank Beamer went 24-40 his first six seasons at Virginia Tech.</div> </div></div>

...decides to hire Dan the man (UCLA? State Penn? Floriduh? Georgia?). Our national Championship run begins when we play the University of Auburn War Eagles...if we can get by them, we should be 7-0 when we meet LSWho (minus the Choom Badger). Then, ua-Tuscaloosa beckons. The following two games should be a breeze before we play for the National Championship.

Our national title run will show that we beat the best. And to quote Ric Flair, to be the best, we have to beat the best....WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
