It's not just Autry who he'll have to out-shine, it's Boyd as well. I don't get the hype on Autry, it even took McPhee a little while to become a star. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't remember him coming out and dominating right off the bat in 2009.
I know people are talking a lot about Autry and hispotentialto be a star, but Ibelievethat Eulls will make a bigger impact this season. He has moreexperienceand is very quick for a player his size. It usually takesplayershalf a season and sometimes an entire season to adapt to SEC football. We have to do a better job getting pressure on the QB in order to allow our DB's to make plays. I'm calling it now, by seasons end, Eulls will be the player everyone is talking about.

Eulls is just a large athletic man, and I think he's going to put outside pressure on QBs andget them to step up in the pocket, right into Josh Boyd. People forget that Boyd had 4.5 sacks last year, even with Cox next to him and no true edge rush to help out. I think our DL is going to disrupt a lot of teams, and I'm really looking forward to watching them work this fall.
Would be tremendous if Eulls plays close to Boyd's level. I believe Autry is expected to be a little better than McPhee so that's probably where the extra hype is coming from. McPhee had a few good offers. Autry, on the other hand, had an offer from just about every great to elite program there is.
Autry is a pass rushing beast- thus the reason he should have more of an impact. Hopefully Eulls is able to get more of a rush this season.
Boyd will be a man inside, and Quay/Virges will play well opposite him as we get into the season...PJ is also going to give Boyd some break- so Boyd will be strong in the 4th quarters this season
I read that somewhere. Eulls is better at run defense, and McCardell is better on pass defense/rushing to the QB.
.
Knock on wood, but from what I have gathered, McCardell has looked pretty good this spring. He has bulked up and seems to have finally gotten the hang of playing with some added weight. He will be a pass rushing specialist for us.
Eulls has a long way to go before anyone is concerned with him coming off of the edge. </p>
WIth the idea being that Eulls is big and strong enough to move inside on clear passing downs so you have basically 3 people that can get some sort of pass rush without leaving the interior too weak.
had offers from just about everyone in the league. Again, I think you will see Eulls emerge as a star.

I think that Eulls might have outgrown DE, thanks to Balis. He looks more like a DT to me than a DE. He is a big man, very solid.
Hey slick - don't use the old forums for now. Use the "main forum" to test in. Trying to decide how I want to approach it as an archive or let it be like it is on yuku and be active.
Reason being the import messed some things up if you are viewing with threaded view. Topic view - everything is ok.
